It's like British English vice American English. Yes, there are superficial differences, and a few humourous deviations, but we're talking about two branches on the same tree.

Zott: I see our Blekky has discovered the joys of amphetamines.
Horus: blekky you are blekky i am horus

Blekky is like a bunny. He looks adorable, yet he might bite you till it hurts.

The Balkens: Blekk does that, he has been taught by NSG's greatest practitioners of Snark to Snark combat.

My goal is to teach. I want to teach at a high level, I want to teach that what these idiot blind children believe to be "Hard Truth" is not anything of the sort. I want to watch as the light pops on in their little eyes and their shallow worldview lies in ruins around the soles of their feet. I want to turn Christopher Columbus into a pariah. I want to show them how to dig for the gory details of their former heroes as they despair at the unrelenting horror that is mankind's past.

And I want to teach them to love it.

Their money down the drain, because Windows machines can do the same job for cheaper. Here's a list of video editing software. Notice how almost every single program on the list except for IMovie and FinalcutPro isn't MacOS exclusive. So unless you're using either of the Final Cut programs or IMovie (Not sure why you would want to use Imovie) There's no reason to get a Mac as you can get a Windows (Or in some cases Linux) machine that can be just as powerful for a lot less. And that's not even going into the fact that a lot of other major programs can't run on Windows. For the longest time Major companies like Autodesk didn't have any of their software run on Macs, and even now Autodesk's big programs like 3Ds Max are still Windows Exclusive.

what can i tell you the guys i know who do it for a living prefer macs.

autodesk is a drating app.

columus already is a pariah, and i see him as a man of his times, not a man above his time.

And yet, we just celebrated a day dedicated to him in the US.

Wait...the US, celebrating slave trade and unrepentant greed and genocide?

Why should I be shocked.
