I also wish to grant lower income earners the chance to purchase and install Solar Panels, with a support of 20% to 60% (depending on their income) from the MotE.

I would support something like that in the form of a green-tax-cut.

I am unsure whether it should be a Grant or a Loan. But considering Solar Panels give you extra money, it could be a loan. Still, should be a case by case basis, and completely optional.

A Green-tax-cut would also be something to further consider.

I would support a low-interest loan alongside a tax cut.

Tax cut's are not really a possibility right now with our current financial position.

Spending was cut to the tune of around 60 billion last budget.
The main problem about taxes is the fact that NB told us to work on lowering the debt that we have. And the fact you need to pass it in front of the senate.

We have a majority, don't we? Modest cuts should be relatively easy.

Btw, that reminds me. How low is our debt? IIRC, we lowered it to £30,000,000.

For 30 billion. Not to 30 billion. If we did that the budget would have gone all towards debt repayment.
Edit about tax cuts we will need to table them under a law in the finance section and wait for them to come up for vote. The budget thanks to a certain law does not need to be voted for.

Btw, is it possible to determine exactly how costly the Ministry of Culture is (Who will be our minister of culture?) as according to the Guild of Aspiring Artists Act (please vote yes when it come to vote), there's no definite amount, as it would vary year by year.

The budget doesn't need to be voted upon? Just great.

Here's an idea; is Hippo still in the Senate? If so, we should threaten to nominate him as Prime Minister if I'm not confirmed. Maybe then the PC will be more keen to compromise.

On that note, vote, people!

What you should do as the candidate is send out a TG to the entire coalition. I have had some from the left due to being in the RG's so I know they are doing it. One of the reasons we are probably behind. Some left parties have sent TG's whilst we have sent none.

The good news about maintaining/raising taxes is that we can blame it on the opposition's government.

Indeed. But the treasury needs the money to eliminate the debt. To do that we need around 15 consecutive NFC terms.

B) Is there a government bond market?
