Yes, you'd make a good president and out of those who have already said they will run, you're the one I'd back most.

It's down to you and Corenea for me. But I must say that you have more experience so I would probably support you.

I presume that was directed at NB despite quoting me? I ain't running, I want to use this character for a more government aspiring senator, rather than a state one.

After some thought, I believe we should not open the NFC to the ALM. It is against our principles to do so.

They are center-left and do not represent the goals of this coalition. After careful consideration, I reverse my previous stance on their membership. I no longer support it.

Some members of the ALM are the same people that back in August/September tried to dissolve the old coalition by pulling out members of the NLP, supporting the PC over New Zep (who later ironically joined the PC, or turned down the opposition budget. I am not opposed to these individuals but I remember some backhanded actions...

Then ot would be prudent to say that theyre membership would not violate our principles but, rather, some of their members are possessed of questionable integrity.

The ALM is certainly more centrist than some but they remain center right. We should do well to expand the coalition to include those uncomfortable with the left.

Your concerns are valid but arent precisely aimed. Voicing skepticism is beneficial... But we must be mindful of who and what it is that warrants such skepticism.

The individuals you mention are known to me bit their previous actions are passed us. Moving forward with a more clearer understand of intent is vital to our relevance in the coming election.

Very well. I apologize, yet I'd like to point out that some of the party's members had collaborated with the left or far left in the past.

Integrity is a principle by default.

And what, may i ask, makes this consideration considerably careful, sir?

The ALM is certainly more centrist than some, but center left? I think you confuse a satisfaction with the status quo for a drive towards progressivist policies. They arent reactionary like the CMP. They arent liberal like the libertarians. They are conservative. Conservative in approach to government responsibility. That seems rather admirably rightist from my perspective.

I think it would be good to at least wait a week to give everyone who wants to run a chance to declare candidacy and give everyone else a chance to decide who to support.

CMP members do not participate in presidential elections. We, as a party, do not consider it permissible to sit on the throne of our absent Sovereign, nor do we recognise any republican Head of State.

Do you not recognize the pres as high authority?

I assume the CMP had voted last election, unless I am mistaken...

Whether or not members vote is a personal matter. Running, however, is forbidden.
