"For the umpteenth time, that pomegranate argument holds no weight in reality. Pomegranates and firearms are two very different things, that's why wing able to eat a single type of fruit isn't a right in any nation. And, really, you're critiquing my logic, mr. fruits-and-guns-are-essentially-the-same-thing? Really? All you have there is a decent joke. And I'll admit, I enjoy it a bit. A pro-pomegranate and anti-pomegranate debate would be hilarious. However, that doesn't make pro-gun and anti-gun arguments the same thing. Or, if you still don't believe me... *ahem* 'Replace gun with pomegranate whenever those anti-gun folks talk: pomegranates are dangerous! We have to restrict the kind of people who can have pomegranates! Having pomegranates is not a right! Now you realize that they're arguments are bullshit pretending to be logic.' There is two and only two universal sins. The sin of dishonesty and the sin of hypocrisy. Such sins are notable and universal, for they cannot be avoided nor can one repent for them. However, the countermeasure for such a sin is simple. Live one's life by charity and moderation. Avoid the vice of hiding the truth. Avoid the vice of not following oneself. That is key to living a life without the burden of universal sin.

"Simple. It's just a modified SSh-68 made from molds from cellulose nano-pulp. The same material is used in the modified 6B12 and it's the mainstay cheap equipment, typically dark olive green; along with the rest of the uniform...some synthetic material that allows perspiration to come out but preserves enough heat for isolation. Near the collar is typically a microphone, and some people wear locating systems in their wrists.

The mainstay firearm is some AK-patterned weapon made from the Galil AR, even though it's called a 'Needle Gun' because of the 22nd Century ammunition. More cellulose, but this time more weakly made and in the shape of a needle. It has the strength to get in but not to come out, and as a result it expands inside a body, and a firearm can carry over 60 rounds.

This is cheap. The finest armor made to date actually looks more like some Pressure Suit with some continuous track or a variant with rolling memory-spheres, and only a handful of shock forces use them...they're like modern chenillettes. What did you expect? Exposed Joints? That's the stupidest idea ever!"

"You see, monsieur, I stand here with a group of captured Frenchmen, and a pistol in one hand. You see this pistol? If I put this to your head, and were to pull the trigger, a bullet would delightfully pop our and end your captivity right here, right now. And that would be it. Your entire life, from baby to man, would be over, and would never begin again. You would be lost forever, another man in Heaven alongside all his wasted young comrades. And that's how war goes. There is an impermanent permance to it, the way so much can change in such a short amount of time. Delightful, to the poetic eye. Now, your role in the grand scheme of things is over. I am sorry to have wasted this speech upon you, but you should thank me, really. I'm just making sure you stay remembered."

"From our experience, killing unarmed and defenseless people generally causes more resentment and more motivation for the enemy to resist you. And it leaves a toll of guilt on any normal person.

You can round up the surrendered. You can rough them up. You can intimidate them. You can force them to work in internment camps for the duration of the conflict...but wholesale carnage to individuals who willingly trust their lives in our hands is not something we're going to gloat about."
