I change my vote from Geil to Lam, just to tie up the vote.

That's about it. We have yet to see who the minor candidates will be.

Also, the business we have to attend to is minor at the moment (we have a one day lull, effectively), but I'm in talks with Glasgia about getting us the Foreign Affairs ministry. He'll probably ask for something on the large side in exchange, which is fine, but I want to get your opinions on what you wish to trade. For reference, we currently have Finance, Defence, Education, Research, Health, Transport, Business Safety, and Interior.

Just to say, Iron has a deal with the NFC to support their candidate in return for ministries.

It turns out that Glas doesn't want to give up the FA, so there's no deal there. We're pretty much set on what we have available, so what I'll do is now open up the floor to anyone who wishes to run for a ministry position. This system was originally devised by Sovcan a few months ago, and how it works is that everyone lists the candidates in order of preference. If there are 10 candidates, for example, being put in first place on a ballot garners you 10 points, second place 9 points, etc. The person with the highest point total gets first pick, the second highest point total gets second pick, etc. We'll have about 2 days plus 7 hours (or so) to declare candidacies.

I declare my intention to run for a ministerial position.

I've made a surveymonkey poll for who you plan to vote for in the upcoming election:

I support peace in Israel and Palestine. The governments and people in power on all sides are an absolute disgrace, and their unwillingness to pursue peace is a disservice to the people they are meant to be serving. The status quo is not simply untenable; it is unquestionably unacceptable.

EDIT: I liked FPTP better than preferential voting.

What was wrong with that system again?
