The Senate of Aurentina,
Acknowledging That W.M.D.s can be used as deterrents against other nations
Believing using WMDs as a deterrent is not the correct way of conducting Aurentina's International Relations
Establishes The Aurentina WMD Commission (AWC) to combat this.
Section One - Goals of the act
The act aims to end the practice of Gunboat diplomacy using Weapons of Mass Destruction.
The motto of the AWC is "Pacem Triumphi".
The AWC will be formed as an independent watchdog of Aurentinan WMD development and use.
It is hoped that the AWC will eliminate production and use of WMDs.
The Ministry of Defence is to fund and operate the AWC.
Section Two - Staff of AWC
Staff of the AWC shall be either:
A. independent nuclear scientists that examine evidence of WMDs in production or use
or
B. Military Police that gather evidence
All staff are to be payed at least three times the minimum wage for work with the AWC.
