Yes...But that didn't exactly answer my question.
I was just relating her nation name to a lake. That's about all all I've got. I'm not fluent in Dutch like I am French, I was sent to the French school while I lived in Belgium, only learned a little Dutch, and can only remember stool (chair), brommer (motorcyle), Brood und kass (bread and cheese), boter (butter), zee (sea), kamp (country, like out in the country), dijk (dike), and koekje (cookie/biscuit). And of course Heineken (beer) :P

Well, I don't know where Stern (the user) comes from, but the nationname sounds more German then Dutch.

Well I was on Forum 7 and noticed a lack of a thread called: Rate the above nation's signature. Since I'm too lazy to make the thread I really just want to know your opinions on my sig.

Likely, as I know, at least in Dutch, meers is lake. So I'd assume it's something similar in German. Zee is sea.
