Well, yeah, but there are actual linguistic reasons why that is said.

But it's not even his fault.
He got called up to Norwood to do some emergency work up there.
Oh, that's different. It's co-worker incompetency that annoys me. Not even that, it's that lazy mentality of not doing a job properly, and having to pick up the pieces. Truthfully, I work very hard at my job, and I do it well, so it's really frustrating when I feel like someone else isn't making the same effort. On the flip side, I have a specific job role, so perhaps I've just gotten better with practice, but I don't think it's that.

Then I wouldn't worry about it. Things that sort themselves out, or are out of our control aren't worth worrying about, in my opinion. It doesn't change the situation, and it won't improve it either, so why bother? That's the way I see it, anyway.
If I do something it could turn out better or worse, but if I just continue the way it is, it will sort itself out and I will be fine with the outcome.

I do a lot of odd jobs at my company, and most of the time I don't even have to work with my co-worker.
The only time we really have to work together usually is when we're clearing leaves.
