I'm going to take it here at my Uni, which means nothing since I'm already fluent.

Yep. Especially when you're not interested in learning it.

Other than that, I'm just a bit confused, its difficult to describe.

Not by a large scale. I'm actually taking some classes, and I'm passing pretty smoothly. Might become quite fluent in a year or two.

depends on what languages you already know. If you already know Dutch, German would be easier. If you are Romanian, French is a whole lot easier. Especially when you have the motivation to learn it.

You pretty summed it up for me.

But I find it as if you know English, French is easier due to all of the word similarities.

Indeed. English is said to be better for both German and French, but I really can't see that.

Oh, that's different. It's co-worker incompetency that annoys me. Not even that, it's that lazy mentality of not doing a job properly, and having to pick up the pieces. Truthfully, I work very hard at my job, and I do it well, so it's really frustrating when I feel like someone else isn't making the same effort. On the flip side, I have a specific job role, so perhaps I've just gotten better with practice, but I don't think it's that.

So him resorting to using them to rile people up is justified?

Anyway, since it turns out it was an attempt at satire, I'm hoping the kinds of threads that got me this riled up in the first place won't appear in the future.

Then I wouldn't worry about it. Things that sort themselves out, or are out of our control aren't worth worrying about, in my opinion. It doesn't change the situation, and it won't improve it either, so why bother? That's the way I see it, anyway.

Not justified, but understandable. I'd be pretty pissed off too if I couldn't open my mouth without having people yell "Nazi!" etc. at me all the time.

If I do something it could turn out better or worse, but if I just continue the way it is, it will sort itself out and I will be fine with the outcome.
