I did too, when I was your age (I also fell in love with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and Stone Temple Pilots).

I'm not a huge fan of those bands. They're a bit to...erm heavy rock for my taste.

90's alternative rock on the other hand was amazing.

But they are 90s alt rock...

I consider bands like Everclear, Collective Soul, Oasis, Smash Mouth and bands like that to be 90's alternative but I guess you're like.

Rolling Stones were amazing.

Although may I say that the Beatles are a little overrated. They're pretty good, but not as great as some people say.

I'm a bit of a Beatles fanboy, and I love the Stones too, but both are a tiny bit overrated.
The Beatles were like most bubblegum bands of the day, just with more originality, and the Stones sucked awful since the early 80's.

They both lived about a mile from my old house(I used to live in Pennsylvania), I believe I ran into one of them at a local supermarket, but I was to young to remember if it was Simon or Art.
