Does bourbon taste different at the bottom of the bottle or is it just my sense of taste being dulled?

Questions like these keep me up at night.

I might have side effects. I'm not sure. TET ended up being incorporated into my OCD rituals at night: check locks, oven, TET, locks, oven, TET, locks, oven, TET, clock.

It got to be bad. So (hopefully) this'll help.

It tastes different in the bottom as it's surrounded by wood on two sides instead of one.
