To be fair my job involves a lot of typing. I'm probably more like 80 wpm with fewer wrong words on a full size keyboard.

Grats. 60 is roughly what "professional" typists are supposed to have.

I feel really let down by this keyboard though;

I also have big hands, so I feel quite clumsy with it.

Once I get a decent keyboard at home I'll retest myself. Spend several hours every day typing. I don't touch type, but I know the location of the keys by memory.

I think it's more because the keys are slightly smaller and completely flat on this keyboard, so the likelihood that I accidentally slightly miss the key is increased. I know I type faster with my work keyboard.

I can't really help you with that. It's not easy finding bands that play in anything other than english, here.

I've found a polish folk band, but that's about it.
