Well, my past (3 day ban for harassing Almajoya back in '09, then getting DEAT in 2010 for trolling by puppet and posting past ban with your main, followed by 1 day ban for trolling in Mumbai, then 6 hour ban for spamming moderation, then warning for spamming moderation, and then a recent warning for posting obscene content, yeah, an RP) pretty much solidifies me never able to be a mod.

I got a 3-day ban on a troll puppet, and I've gotten 3-4 warnings or so on this account. My most recent one was for using the Max-Nation flag after Ainin was told not to use it.

Is it just me, or does Tengri usually reform in the game when picking a later startdate and the Golden Horde is still Tengri?

I usually always start at the very beginning, so no clue.

And yeah. Quil18 sometimes gets on my nerves with his silly mistakes, but that can be forgiven because he is playing a game and trying to explain it at the same time

Have you tried playing as the Mongol Empire at their startdate? I tried, but then lost interest after I got stuck in Perisa/Arabia and couldn't really go up North (due to the "You have a truce with this character, if you declare war, you lose 5 diplomacy").
