And why is that, senator? From a multitude of discussions I've had with the right, we won't receive any support for a bipartisan budget with a top bracket greater than 50%. I personally don't wish to risk having a budget fail on its first attempt and be forced to wait around another week before getting one in.

How much have you spoken to other parties in your own coalition besides the NDP I might ask? I know a lot it happens behind closed doors but in the Budget negotiations thread it doesn't look like you have spoken to anyone besides the MoF, Glasgia, and Ainin from your own Coalition.

And considering the MoF is from the Communist Party and Glasgia is MSP, I thought it would be decent representation. I also assumed going in that I would have coalition support for a budget because I believed there would be a recognition of the need to compromise in order to get a multipartisan budget passed, but clearly that hasn't worked out, much to my surprise.

I do not think that by any means I speak for the entire left of the coalition. But Glasgia has expressed concern over the income tax rates and the MoF's personal standing has been called into question. You assumed coalition support for something they opposed a whole two months ago simply because you pushed it not Britanno and RoG?

By no means was that the basis of my assumption. The basis of my assumption was that the left hand sectors of the coalition was generally opposed to anything below 50, not 60. I had my numbers wrong.
Regardless of how we got into this, the bigger question is how we're going to get out of it. Is there a way you will support anything lower than a 60% bracket, such as adding other taxes, etc.?

There’s only a few things on this list because, at this point, having seen a lot of the things that have already gone on with this Ministry, I can see that, aside of a few little points that I would quite like to write bills for myself, it seems to be just ensuring that bills that are currently in the queue pass, as they are very important to the transport in this nation. However, here are the points I would like to work on if I took the Ministry on:
1. Place regulations on night flying, by both commercial and private airplanes.
2. Establish the Civil Transport Incident Investigation Bureau, as referred to in the Transport Safety Act, so that incidents like the recent tragedy involving Senator Jefferson Smith and Chief of Staff Ian Robinson can be properly investigated.
3. Establish official train driver’s and pilot’s licenses, since that doesn’t seem to have been established before, but has been mentioned by various people.
If anybody has any suggestions of things to add, please let me know; I’m happy to take on board any advice people want to give.

The Prime Minister has made it a priority for this term to pass a law making public transportation in the Commonwealth free for all. Do you support this endeavor?

I'd support Ainin's plan. It is slightly bugging me, however, that you've put Plan B on the left and A on the right
I seemed to have inverted the [floatleft] and [floatright] tags.
