Frankly, I'd much rather have a libertarian monarchist as my Prime Minister, than a fascist. With Distruzio, perhaps we can cooperate better than if we got a godforsaken Fascist.

They're putting fascists in their cabinet. I'm sad that anyone can tolerate that. But I'll leave this to the Chairman.

The necessary evil being a non fascist liberal traditionalist with the authority to rebuff syncretic revolutionaries such as the fascist element and the willingness to do so BECAUSE of his antidemocratic sentiments.

Suggesting that a push for fascism through democratic channels would meet stern resistance from the CMP and myself.

I apologize in advance in this comment is out of line.

Chances are that not every party member will vote. We're not a very active party, despite our best efforts otherwise.

I'm going to make this a second line whip meaning abstentions are allowed. I will not tolerate any votes for the nominee however. Firstly, there is the issue of fascists in government and a libertarian monarchist PM. Second, I will not support a rightist for PM. I'll support a leftist and I'll support a centrist, but I draw the line there personally.

Besides, this would be like asking them to accept an active member of the CP as PM, they'd vote no.

I was not expecting 100% turnout, but this is just bad. After this is all over we should go back to planning for increasing activity.

Ok, so that actually an admin question. You can contact them here NSG Senate Administrators. My gut feeling is yes but it is better to check.

Or just wait for one of them to show up, I'd give it 3 hours.

Just keep in mind that in the Senate you are not your nation, but rather a senator living in a sort of copy of the real world (where our fictional country exists). The senator doesn't have to be who you are OOC, but they are distinct from your NS nation.

Where Y means yay or for, A means abstain, and N means nay or against.
So, if I can count, that's 19 (53%) people who didn't vote, noone voted for, one (3%) abstained, and 16 (44%) voted against out of a total of 36 members. That's the same amount of people that voted in the Presidential election. This shows that Red-Greens are as willing to vote in the Prime minister election as they are in the Presidential, which implies that we're able to get out about 17 members whenever there's a party whip. We'll see if that pattern continues. In the mean time we need to develop a stratergy to increase turnout in the long term. Telegrams can only do so much, we need new ideas to increase turnout and general activity. I hope that the central committee can restart talks on this. If any of you have any ideas or comments, please do tg the Red-Green account.
On an other note, sincere thanks to those of you who did vote against the new Prime Minister. We may have lost in the end, but we did put up a fight. Our sixteen votes were the majority of the 27 nays in total, so no one can point fingers at us and say we did badly. Lets continue to stand for what we believe in, and work to become an effective party that has more influence on whichever government that's in power. We could have done better this time, yes, but we can do better in the future. That's what's important and I hope that you will fully support the party's effort to become stronger.
Thank you.
-Pesda, Chief whip

Hello fellow red-greens. I went innactive for a while, but I think that I will be more active for the time being, and wish to rejoin the party.

Edit: Actually, I have a few questions, the first being, who is actually in control of the government?

Edit: Figured it out, we lost to a libertarian monarchist coalition.
