And, Oneracon, you should probably officiate the vote in that case. Otherwise we'll elect a chairman in about a year.

[11:18] <Unicario> Can you ask them to hold off the election until the 6th?
[11:19] <Unicario> on my behest.
[11:20] <Unicario> I'd like to campaign for the election but I can't do that while I'm banned (Ban expires November 5th around mid-day.)

HumanSanity wrote:Abortion: Free access to abortion and other contraceptives until birth.
Affirmative Action: In favor of systems granting preference to those who are minorities, against those that try to fill quotas.
Authoritarianism: I believe individuals should be free in their persons, beliefs, and all other manners reasonable in a state.
Conscription: If Aurentina cannot call up enough people to fight a war it clearly doesn't have enough support to fight that war.
Copyright law: The state should have the right to purchase intellectual property from an individual.
Corporate personhood: No. Just no.
Death penalty: keep it banned, for Aurentina.
Democracy: At a national level republican democracy is essential for stability and ease of decision making but at a lower level direct democracy can apply.
Drug legalization: People should be free to use legal drugs. The Commonwealth should legalize most drugs and tax them heavily to avoid people using them and fueling violence and because individuals should be free to use them.
Economic ideology: State controlled industry.
Feminism: The feminist movement has perfectly valid concerns and they should be addressed at the highest levels. I, for one, support the goals of the wider feminist movement.
Free speech: Fully permitted.
Gay marriage: In favor.
Global warming: I am not Ted Cruz, I think Global warming is real. I think the Aurentine government should take all necessary precautions to reduce its pollution impact.
Gun control: People should not be permitted to access guns that are military grade or without clearly showing proficiency in how to use them and their stability to have them. People should not be permitted to obtain too much ammunition or too many guns.
Immigration (legal): It should be easy to immigrate to this country. It should not be necessary for a person to come illegally.
Immigration (illegal): Illegal immigrants should be forgiven and permitted to come as working members of society and eventually as citizens.
Imperialism/Militarism: Only the necessary military to defend Aurentina from hostile attacks should be maintained.
Internet censorship: The internet should be free from all government censorship.
LGBTQ equal rights: Same as with gay marriage.
Racism: Racism is wrong and to combat it we must increase a sense of understanding and equality.
Redistribution of wealth: An important factor in an government built upon equality.
Taxation: A progressive income tax with lower incomes untaxed and higher incomes taxed as highly as 70% should be used.
Unions: It is the right of every worker to form or join a union.
Universal health care: I favor an efficient, single payer, universal health care system.
Welfare: The government should provide assistance to those in need.
Worker's rights: Workers should have the right to unionize and to strike for better working conditions and pay. I believe in a living wage of 125% of the poverty line.
Youth rights: To the greatest reasonable extent I support the rights of youths to express their opinions.

Affirmative Action: Against, since equality is equality.
Authoritarianism: Against, democracy is the only solution to a proper society.
Conscription: Should be required for constant juvenile offenders, but otherwise only in absolute necessity.
Copyright law: At the very least reduced to a minimum of a 28 year copyright, if not abolished.
Corporate personhood: Vehemently against.
Death penalty: Support for rapists and murderers.
Democracy: Support.
Drug legalization: Support marijuana legalization, against hard drug legalization
Economic ideology: Social Democracy
Feminism: Pro-moderate feminism, anti-radical feminism.
Free speech: Support.
Global warming: I honestly believe that the climate cycles, but we're accelerating the process by irresponsibility.
Gun control: Guns are something people should have to defend themselves, but they shouldn't get overzealous, mkay?
Immigration (legal): Support.
Immigration (illegal): We need to either put them on the track to be contributive citizens, or deport them.
Imperialism/Militarism: No opinion.
Internet censorship: Against.
LGBTQ equal rights: Support 1000%
Racism: Against.
Redistribution of wealth: Only to those who do not donate part of their wealth to charity, as is our responsibility as the rich.
Same-sex marriage: Support 1000%
Taxation: Moderate
Unions: Support, but sometimes they get really greedy, which is bad.
Universal health care: Support.
Welfare: Should be very seriously regulated to prevent abuse, which tends to happen in welfare states.
Worker's rights: All workers have rights!
Youth rights: Definitely support. They deserve to be treated well, and to go to schools that aren't authoritarian plutocracies under arbitrary administrators.
Economic Left/Right: Leftist.
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: Social moderate, authoritarian leaning?

That's a releif.
If you don't mind I'd like to ask you more questions
-Could you define moderate and radical feminism?
-Are you committed to the reduction and eventual elimination of greenhouse gas emissions?
-Could you provide more detail about when you consider conscription necessary, why you believe so, and is it something you would push for?

Moderate and radical feminism. There is such a fine blur that it can be hard from time to time to interpret it. I would say radical feminism is basically feminists who go out of their way to discredit the male half of society, and actively strive against equality for all of the people of the earth by promoting female supremacy.
Moderate feminists are those who just want equality for women in a male-dominated society, an understandable goal.
I do believe we should strive to reduce and abolish greenhouse gas emissions, because even though this global warming pattern is one of constant cycle, we are making it more radical and more abrupt with the amount of pollutants we're piping into the atmosphere.
As for my conscription policy, well, when applied to delinquents, I believe that people who have a history of being a delinquent, and get into trouble for petty theft or some sort, should be brought into the military to reform them into a good citizen. It's always better to take the bad of society and make it do good than to lock them away in prisons.
Outside of that, I believe conscription should only be put in during times where the nation is either at war, or there is a scare of war (international crisis, etc.). I would push for conscription in those situations, for the good of the nation to be ready to go to war if needed.

This new Vice President would only be in office for 12 days or so, but nonetheless their services would be invaluable. I intend to appoint someone from this party, and would like to humbly ask anyone who is interested in the position to please contact me at your earliest convenience. You will naturally have to be active for all 12 days, and I would prefer someone with whom I've had previous contact. Thank you.
