The number is actually on the low side, parliamentary systems like ours with such population sizes usually have upwards of 600 members. The premise of the bill is totally inaccurate and I believe designed to further concentrate power in the hands of an ever decreasing political elite.

Let's try and avoid condemning major European superpowers. We're not America, we likely rely on Russia in many ways. This bill will do nothing but engender hostility between us, a small Mediterranean island, and Russia, the world's largest country, with the world's largest natural gas reserves, the 8th largest oil reserves, and the second largest coal reserves. It is the largest oil exporter and producer, and we are likely completely energy dependent on imports from them.

I like gay rights as much as the next guy, but it's not worth the possible economic fallout. We're running a country, not an international human rights campaign.

The point is, the 1% limit stops us from fighting a total war such as WW2. That is dangerous in an ever increasingly unstable world, the military should only be limited by how much money we vote through for them on a yearly basis to allow them to respond to the situation of the day. Section 2 - Declaration on LGBT asylum seekers
a) This Senate, on behalf of the people of Aurentina, grants LGBT Russian citizens who have had their rights to express themselves and to receive fair treatment under the law honorary citizenship of this nation and blanket protection from any extradition requests made by any source for anything associated with Article 6.21 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses. This senate further grants blanket immunity from prosecution in regards to anything associated with Article 6.21 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses.
b) Asylum may be provided if the person in question has not been convicted of murder, assault, rape, or theft.
ii) By passing of this act, all Aurentine embassies and consulates abroad are required to act to protect LGBT asylum seekers from Russia, using any legal means possible.

My senators parents are Aurentine but my senator was born in the USSR do I get citizenship?

Honestly I am not sure. But this bill doesn't mention that case, nor would it have any effect on the status of such peoples.

On the other hand, I would suggest actually looking at the map before you decide to merge districts. Quite a few of the ones you've proposed here are mergers of already populated districts with nearby well-populated districts, adding even more unproportionality.

So the German, UK, French, Russian, Turkish, Italian, Spanish etc etc etc don't count as they all weigh in at between 550 and 1000 members?

1. No more than 50,000 active and 400,000 total military personnel shall be in the military in a time of peace, and
2. A maximum of 1% of Aurentina's population may be in the military.

The Senate of Aurentina, DECREES that the funding for Defense shall never excede $20 billion in peace and $40 billion in war.

AS SUCH CITIZENS, they are to hold the hold the same rights as all other citizens to make and enforce contracts, to sue, be parties, and give evidence, to inherit,
