And David Cameron is deeply hated by both the grassroots of his own party and the opposition. I can't really comment on American and German politics.
Cameron actually has a great deal of support. UKIP and backbencher Conservatives just get too much of the spotlight. One could say that the grassroots of Labour hates Miliband for promoting his party as that of 'one nation labour' and screwing over the unions, but that doesn't get much attention other in left-wing newspapers.
