Alliance for Aurentina [NSG Senate]

Postby Wolfmanne » Mon Jul 08, 2013 2:50 pm

Welcome to the Alliance for Aurentina, a coalition formed by the centrist and centre-right parties of the Senate and the unofficial successor to the original Centre Coalition (unofficial name). At this stage in time, only the Progressive-Conservative Party and the Libertarian Freedom Party, to my knowledge, have confirmed their membership of the Alliance for Aurentina. However, former participants of the Alliance for Aurentina and any parties or independents that fit in within a spectrum ranging from the Radical Centre to Right-Libertarianism are welcome to join. If other parties have confirmed their membership already, please inform me immediately. Below is the current platform adopted by the AfA. However, it is not our final draft and it has not been approved yet, therefore I'd like to encourage debate on it.

Platform is being maintained at this point in time but will be restored.

We died. Goodbye.

I really would prefer if the churches collected their tithe themselves; then if they want to share with other churches they can just do so. They can even form church unions or something and organize a vibrant religious life that won't be subject to the whims of a changeable state's policies.

I really think that we should have an AfA candidate to compete with the ProgCoa. I nominate Britanno, the current Senator running on a Conservative People's Party ticket.

Oops that would be correct, International Law Act ratified the Rome Statute.

:palm: This coalition's name is even more insulting than 'Progress Coalition'. (Which I've persistently campaigned against, FTR.)

Has NCP been invited to join?
I support peace in Israel and Palestine. The governments and people in power on all sides are an absolute disgrace, and their unwillingness to pursue peace is a disservice to the people they are meant to be serving. The status quo is not simply untenable; it is unquestionably unacceptable.

Yaaayyyyy. A coalition-thingy. With a title that sounds more like a nationalist paramilitary group than an organisation of centre-right parties.

I say we call it the "NATIONAL FRONT FOR THE TRUE AURENTINE PEOPLE OF AURENTINA AND FOR THE OFFENSIVE DEFENSE OF OUR GREAT NATION WITH THE VANGUARD PARTY AT THE HELM OF OUR GREAT NATION WHICH ADVANCES WITH THE HELP OF THE NATIONAL FRONT FOR THE TRUE AURENTINE PEOPLE OF AURENTINA"
I don't care if people hate my guts; I assume most of them do.
The question is whether they are in a position to do anything about it. ― William S. Burroughs

Just substitute Aurentina with Hellenic Republic and Aurentine with Hellenic and you can be the propaganda officer for the New Dawn party.

Hell yes. I'd do it. Seven percent of the Greek parliament, baby, we're going strong.

You change your coalition's name and then we might consider doing the same.

FSC believes the label is too one-sided, since it implies outside parties are anti-progress. This concern is further elevated in your coalition name.

Yes well coalition names in this game is one-sided people will just have to get used to it as it is almost impossible to make politically charged names that all members of a coalition can support (this alliance was originally supposed to be called the Conservative Coalition, but I had some misgivings about that)

We need you goddammit. You are the only one with the experience, authority and pondus to win. All respect to Britanno but I don't see him toppling PC.
