I'm capable of a bit of detail when the occasion calls for it, I suppose - on the art bit.

Still have a hard time finishing things. Mostly sketches is what I end up with, and I haven't been doing nearly enough.

As for the 'bunny' theme, I blame you, Dyakovo.

Or just make sure they're very flammable in case you get cremated.

Nothing to be jelly of. I'm 42, and it's gotten me nowhere as yet, never been able to get and hold a job where it mattered, and it mostly gets treated as an afterthought. I've done 5 advertisements for magazines/newspapers this week for example. That kind of work farmed out would cost the biz quite a bit to have done, even if simple.

I did it with Word and InDesign, no art programs, and it's just 'one of the many things I'm able to do' out there. *shrugs* Would love to have time to get back into it all seriously.

What matters most is that you enjoy it. I enjoy RP'ing and writing, but I can never get to level where I could live off what I like to do. I'm easily influenced by other people's work, that's just who I am. "Why didn't I think of something like that" is a thought that pops into my mind often, and I don't particularly like feeling like that. I'd rather be able to ignore that voice and just do what I wanna do.

I like it. :) One of these days, gonna push myself to do some stylized bits. One of these days ... in watching Face Off (something my daughter thought I should do, hah ... damn that would be cool) I've been inspired to try sketching some of the ideas they're tasked with, to see if I can't push boundaries a bit, stretch a little.
