I think I would be able to hear one if I shut my cooling fan and the air conditioner off though, but I would say it's a lot clearer than mine which is prone to distortions such as echoes.

A sword is a big heavy thing that needs a wind-up. A straight razor is small, light, and very very sharp. So while you swing your, ahem, extension and get tried, all I would have to do is wait for one big swing, make a precise cuts somewhere, and repeat as necessary.

Either that or I could invest in a shotgun with a state-approved minimum length barrel :P
