Johann nodded in reply to him, taking a drink from his glass of Fur Julebryg before responding.

"Indeed I am," he said while idly tapping the side of the glass he was holding, "I Johann het Mobieus, the Senator from Rijkeland. Glad to make your acquaintance.."

He trailed off at the end of the sentence, waiting for the other Senator to introduce himself as well.

Michael was a little confused when the new Senator said he was from "Rijkeland". Oh well, he thought, probably some obscure rural constituency.
"I'm Michael Kelly," he replied, "it's a pleasure to meet you, Johann."

Outside a Gendarmerie car skidded to a halt, and dropped off a pair of officers before zooming away into the night. The pair quickly checked their side-arms and re-holstered them before moving into the pub and having a look around before taking seats away from one another and with views of the whole room.

OOC: Ah, I was assuming that our constituencies took the name of our II Nations. My fault.

"A pleasure to meet both of you," Johann said, speaking to the two who introduced themselves.

After shaking the hands of both Weinthal and Kelly, he seated himself at the bar there next to them, taking another drink of the rich, dark lager.

"I trust that everyone had a pleasant Christmas, yes?"

It was then that Johann noticed as well the officers that had entered into the Pub, and craned his neck behind him to see what was going on.

He shot a precursory glance at Weinthal, one that seemed to ask what was happening.

He then noticed the Gendarmes enter the pub.

Mobieus stroked his chin pensively, looking from Weinthal, to Kelly, to the Gendarmes in turn.

When he heard of an "incident" that had occurred, followed by Weinthal's mention of Senator Wintle, Johann immediately pieced together what had happened.

"Ah, yes," he said to Weinthal, nodding, "I heard of Wintle's incident when I was on the way over here. Dreadful situation, it is."

As people sat there, a man wearing a smart suit walked into the pub carrying a briefcase. Sitting at the bar he ordered himself a beer and then unfolded his copy of Pravda. The man was of African origin it would look, according to his skin-colour, and was sharply dressed with a hat and some reading glasses on his nose.
Yes, a Puppet.
No, not who you think.

"Well, I suppose that you technically can't be prosecuted for that, seeing as it wasn't illegal at the time."
He took a swig from his Guinness (assuming it had already been served to him).

"That was the point, I had the guy patched up at a private hospital then ended up giving him a job. Turns out he was unemployed and about to lose his home so he was on his way to kill himself. A car drove up to the door of the bar. As it stopped, two young men, both ethnic Aurentines got out. Casually dressed, they calmly walked into the pub. Looking to one side, the pair noticed two officers of the law.

"Dammit Gendarmes." One muttered under his breath. Continuing quietly into the pub, they sat down near the President pro tempore and started conversing quietly.

The security guard near the door had noticed the suspicious men, "Two Suspicious men have just entered the pub," he quietly said under his breath into his radio.

The head of security in the control room "Ok don't react in anyway, Jase and Rich are going to come out whilst Robert is breaking out the Semi-auto's. He will be waiting with them just inside the control room door in case it kicks off."

"What about the honcho?" The first man said

"Don't worry I will let him know." The head of security then spoke to Boris who was wearing a small discreet ear piece and microphone as was standard practice. "We have picked up some suspicious individuals sitting just to the left behind you Sir."

Boris carefully looked up slightly to look in the mirror behind the bar. "I see them, notify my personal security detail out side. Have them ready to enter from both sides of the pub if anything starts. I will move towards the rear exit ok?"

"Affirmative Sir." With than the Head of security contacted the 8 man detail that Boris always now had travel with him, they prepared to do what they were paid their not inconsequential salaries for.

Meanwhile Boris slipped his hand into his Blazer, he undid his concealed carry shoulder holster, flicked the safety off and pulled back the hammer. He always had a bullet in chamber for this sort of situation. He did not feel too vulnerable, on top of the security assets he was as a private individual entitled to wear a bullet proof vest, an example of which he was wearing at present.

He took a sip from his pint, the muscles in his legs tensing in anticipation, his eyes focused on the two men in the mirror.

The men kept talking in hushed tones. As they did one of them looks up to the mirror behind the bar and catches a glimpse of Johnson's gaze. He looked away than said quietly to his friend. "Is now the time? I think he's on to us." As he said that he fumbled with his gun his jacket. He then got up and proceeded to walk out the bar, leaving his friend behind.

The Guard by the door seeing this, drew his side arm as the man approached. "Sir, we have reason to suspect you mean to cause this establishment and persons within harm. Please submit to a search of your person or we will notify the constables."

"F-ff-Fuck you!" He said angrily. The car that had dropped them off drove back up the road and stopped outside the pub. A light-skinned man in his late 50's gets out.

"Is something wrong?" He said to the guard.

By this time the other two guards had come over as well. One still kept an eye on the second man still sat near the bar.

"You have one last chance to remove yourself from the premises or we shall arrest you as well."

The Head of security had been looking at the CCTV and decided that will the number even inside the pub backup was needed. First he called out for a quick response team from DePheffel security HQ in the capital and second he ordered two of the Ministers close protection detail to provide back up. Two men in Dark suit's entered through the front and came to stand behind the elderly man :p .

"I believe you have been asked to remove yourself, kindly do so."

At the same time the Guard who was still watching the man at the table approached him and called out "Oi, you too. You are being asked to remove yourself from this establishment." The Guard had drawn his pistol, it was pointed towards the floor.
