I think you should use an undersized meat grinder. You know, it's slower that way.

I'm doing great. Tired and achy after walking around all yesterday carrying bags of heavy things, but I got to wear a costume and see Alan Tudyk, which makes it an awesome day by any reasonable definition.
I'm jealous... How'd meeting Alan Tudyk come about?
Much better day than I've had... I sat around and done nothing thanks to having sprained my ankle at work on Thursday.
I'm sorry. When are you going to be able to get back on your feet?

Why trolls revel in being hated, I don't know.
I don't quite get why gore is even supposed to be shocking. And hell, anal prolapses barely even qualify as gore.
*sigh* I guess I'm just too desensitised from prolonged internet exposure.

I didn't really meet him, I was just part of the audience for his Q&A session. I was right up the front though.
I could have stayed around for Karl Urban, but I was getting pretty tired by then.
I also bought a set of beautiful maps of the world of Game of Thrones, volumes 2 and 3 of The Death of Captain America, and a cuddly Companion Cube. Fun day was fun.

Meh. Sounds like such logic is a sign of severe mental illness to me.

Well, even that was cool...I've not anything similar... I've met exactly one famous(ish) person: L.E. Modessitt.
Cuddly Companion Cube?
I'm hoping to get cleared for returning to work at my next appointment, which would be on Friday.

The Companion Cube is from the video game Portal. It's a cube with a heart painted on it. It's your most loyal, stalwart friend. It will never judge you and never leave you. They made plushies of it.
I'm also chuffed that I got another opportunity to wear my Melisandre costume.
That's pretty cool in itself. He's a very prolific author. Science fiction owes him a lot.
And he signed all my books of his that I had with me.

CVT Temp wrote:I mean, we can actually create a mathematical definition for evolution in terms of the evolutionary algorithm and then write code to deal with abstract instances of evolution, which basically equates to mathematical proof that evolution works. All that remains is to show that biological systems replicate in such a way as to satisfy the minimal criteria required for evolution to apply to them, something which has already been adequately shown time and again. At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

What are your preferred methods for plating portals? Electroplating, gold plating, rhodium plating, chrome plating, composite plating or auto-catalytic plating are the ones I'm currently considering, but making a choice is hard.
