Probably more Muslim than Jewish. We're quite near North Africa.

It seems like geography would be fairly important to establish before culture and history. Unless we are to be in the Western Mediterranean it seems as though we should probably have a higher Orthodox population than we are currently indicating, and would almost certainly have a higher Muslim population than we have now regardless of our location.Britcan wrote:We're still unclear on that. We are also Germanic, so perhaps a Catholic, Lutheran, Calvinist Mix with a sizable irreligious minority.
But we were not part of the HRE during the protestant reformation, and in fact were close enough to spain and italy to make calvinism or lutheranism gaining a substantial hold unlikely.

That's a good point. I completely forgot about the Orthodox Christians.

I would have though Presbyterianism would have been more popular as Calvinism was well established before the age of empire and in British colonies Presbyterians were more active missionaries as the Anglicans focused on being a colonial church.

That's an interesting point, but how does it warrant more than 3.5%? I'm just curious on that.
