I was wrong about this, the chief exorcist of the Vatican condemned it, not the pope.
Pope Benedict condemned Harry Potter when he was Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, not when he was pope.
Edit: Actually, I'm not sure on that one. Regardless, he did not openly decree that Christians shouldn't read it. Homosexuality is denounced by every pope so far, and the Bible.

Pope Francis says that gays are okay.
Senator von Hohenzollern is still open for questioning.

Alfred Wintle, 19th Marquess of Winchester - UNK as of yet
Account Name: Kouralia
Occupation: Senator, Marquess of Winchester, Reservist WO1
Party Position(s):SenatorPositions in Government:SenatorConstituency: Kapsteed
Political Ideology: None really specifiable.
Family: Wife, One Son
Background: Alf Wintle was born into a privileged family in Britain in 1957, but due to a Divorce was taken by his Mother to live in the Colony of Aurentina where he grew up - but without Aurentine citizenship, instead being British. Sent to school, he irritated the teachers so much with his general antics - combined most annoyingly with an intense desire to learn more about History, he ended up getting four A Levels (or what passed for them) and a BA in War Studies. Taking Advantage of the ability to join the British Army from the colony, he moved back to Britain and joined the 'Grenadier Guards Regiment'. In 2011, having served as a Guardsman, JNCO, NCO and WO in Germany, Africa, Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Aurentina, Guards Parachute Platoon and Afghanistan, he retired as the Grenadier Guards RSM to move back to Aurentina to help with the restructuring for the rumoured British pull-out.
Once in Aurentina, he's worked with both the Aurentine Government and the British Forces, eventually overseeing a small hand-over ceremony between A Coy Cmdr 3 RIFLES and the new Aurentine Mayor of Kapsteed, as a honorary guest - having fought in the town before against a Communist Militia. Settling in the city and marrying his long-standing partner in early 2012. In 2013 he became politically involved during the second Presidential Election, and upon the tragic death of Joseph Kourie he was elected to the Senate Representative of Kapsteed. Shortly before this incident, however, he was alerted to the death of his father in a car accident in London - rendering him the 19th Marquess of Windsor, something he returned temporarily to London to be confirmed as before once again coming to Aurentina: returning on the 13th of August.
Faith: Atheist
Likes: Reading, Beasting 'Orrible Little Men, shouting, drill, acting, combat, Her Majesty
Dislikes: Criminals, slovenly little shits, shirkers, Fascists, People who fought the British (and killed some of his friends), More Criminals
Any Questions from the Public to be answered? What do you think about the assassination of Joseph Kourie and do you back my calls for revenge?
It was a damned deplorable act. Having served under the General in Aurentina before I knew he was a damn good fellow and I most certainly support calls to find and... beast those who committed such Crowbaggery.
What is the reaction to Senator Kourie's death within your constituency?
Widespread Mourning, and an outpouring of anger at the Mafia for taking away the man many people there saw as a hero. While he hadn't even gotten into Government, he created the police and Criminal Code, and always made sure to take care of his constituents - no matter how stressful or busy life in the Senate/fighting the Mafia was.

Would you support reasonable self defence laws so people are allowed to defend themselves with the weapons they own?

I was offered twice the ability to Late Entry, but refused it both times.
