I want to agree as far as open discussion in this thread is concerned, yet, I feel I also have an obligation to answer recent questions and responses in good faith aimed at me, so here are those answers in teh spoiler for those who are interested:

I don't see how that's relevant. For one thing, Asperger's doesn't exist, you're autistic.

Would you want to expose yourself to the stereotypes of autistic people? Perhaps they aren't ready to identify themselves as such. You can't force anyone to identify with anything.

You say "force" - I saw words on a screen from a non moderator but whatever - that calls into question the people trying to silence me and tell me not to be offended. If that person is deliberately trying to hide from the truth that we share a spectrum difference from neurotypicals, using a Syndrome developed to help understand the people who had marked differences in degree of symptomology and etc. from others who reported similar history and internal experiences, that is really dishonest and they should know that is wrong. Who hides from medical progress in order to throw the rest of their community under the bus? I have embraced the truth and it is offensive to me that others with some of the same struggles would be happy to stigmatize me in that way just so they can claim they're special.

I actually know someone with Aspergers syndrome. It is not autism, regardless of medical definitions these days.

I was diagnosed with it, too. It's literally an outdated concept for something that wasn't yet understood. That's what a syndrome is, it's a way to understand a group of symptoms and put the idea to some testing without declaring it is or isn't better understood another way.

We now know what Autism Spectrum Difference is. DSM only recognizes it as a "Disorder", but to be clear, that's not at all what I'm saying - I do not intend to tell anyone else they have a "Disorder". Far from it, that is between them and the medical communtiy.

I fill that such a punishment should only be used for people who have committed crimes against the state like Tresion and Terrorism. But I also feel that if a person has been given life imprisonment he or she should be slowed to opt out of life in prison in favor out a death sentence. However that will be their choice to make.

I also feel that no matter what we should make the act of killing a prisoner as humane as posible and should strive to be as humane as posible.
