I would like to be the first of the Senators of Aurentina to congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their child and I wish the new parents and their new son happiness and good health.

This nation should not be taken to be representative of my real-life views, nor should any of the nonsense I posted on here as a teenager.

Damn, I was going to do that. I second this. I also ask that we send a letter to the royal family congratulating them on the new addition.

I would suggest that be handled by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, though he doesn't necessarily have to draft it. This isn't the senate's job.

My friends, with the aforementioned comments in consideration I would like to propose a policy of the Senate conducting a full vote on a resolution to congratulate each and every new born child in the entire world.

While this development is important to the political landscape of the Kingdom it is not of national significance to the Aurentine Government. Congratulations to the family yes and wishes of a very prosperous and long life to the newborn son, but no special recognition is necessary.

This. Also, I'd sooner run a Royal Family through a guillotine than waste a second of the Senate's time on doing anything else to or about them.

Could, but we have other things to be dealing with.

We could simply have an honorary debate :)

I would ask you from Refrain from issuing baseless and groundless Orders to members of the NIFP.

If the Senator feels inclined to celebrate the birth of a "Royal" Baby he can do so, if he wishes to use the Royal Baby as a justification for a Political stance as long as it remains within the law there is nothing to comment negatively upon, if it isn't to your taste ignore it.

He has not violated the ethics act nor any other existing senatorial regulation in any fashion.

I would like to inform the chamber I am withdrawing the Educational Excellence Omnibus from the queue, the reason for doing so is the government will not debate and merely has disrespected my honour and the honour of my party.

The Minister for Education will introduce his own plan including compulsory religious studies for all, something I wouldn't accept.
