I'm pretty sure the "Stupid Business Idea" thing was moved into the Economic Oversight Omnibus.

Educational reform is obviously important, but so are multiple bills and omnibuses which have continually been pushed down and delayed because of various elections and moves such as this. We need to vote on these things, including a tax collection system. Surely having funds to pay for things such as education is crucial?

I must agree with Senator Pierce here. The Parties, too, have all prepared for the finance omnibus we were debating, and now we have less than a day to figure out how to whip this omnibus. (I'm guessing any suggestion that we should extend the debate to the maximum 36 hours will be met with cries of "Think of the children!" and a lynching.) We have almost no time to examine the technical details of the laws we are asked to impose on generations of Aurentine schoolchildren. It's all a little maddening, frankly, and I wish there were a little more respect for the order of business we had established.
I also think it's vicious and cruel to try to intimidate the Senate into busting our asses working overtime by invoking vulnerable groups of people. Some of us are part of vulnerable groups ourselves, you know. (OOC: This is really unfair. We're doing this for free and it would be nice to have an ounce of fucking consideration for those of us who've just stayed up all night working on the queue that we'd agreed on. I'm here rather than in an actual Senate because I have limited energy and time for this stuff.)

I must agree with my colleague here. We have important financial bills in queue, and this education act is useless and a waste of time until we actually are able to get money to pay for it. These laws were moved to the front with little time to examine them.
I motion to veto the president's queue jump.

1. Check it again, it was fixed.
2. Have some patience, I"m busting my ass here. I posted it as soon as I could and then caught up with the thread and fixed it.
3. When you quote long posts, it's polite to put the bill/queue in a spoiler or delete it, so there's less confusion and less scrolling.
