Even if you just try to RP outside the main senate threads you're bound to be shot by them eventually even if you pretend the don't exist. BTW this is supposed to be a IC/OOC mix thread no need to put OoC marks .-.

So, what's the problem? Literally everyone in that restaurant is someone that wanted to be involved. They are all fully expecting to be involved in a firefight. Why do you care if they do?

As far as I'm concerned, this has evolved into the roleplay of an entire nation, with us roleplaying as senators being the focus. Get over it.

Note that you need to tone down your response time. A big reason the mafia is successful at all is that, in massive cosmopolitan cities, the police force is usually somewhere else and will not physically be able to get there for several minutes.

Just a realism check.

Alternatively, they're (as they actually are) watching someone suspected of being a Mafia member. So, y'know, they'll rock up right now thank you very much.

The Mafia is a worthless tool to allow you and your conservative cronies to intimidate the Senate into doing your bidding by assassinating anyone who resists.

No. This is still a SENATE roleplay given the name. People choose to RP other minor things. It doesn't grant YOU permission to go around shooting everyone.

At the Irish pub they were there in a matter of seconds. That was absolutely ridiculous.

But I understand watching Nuckerberg. Damn Sicilians.

If it doesn't affect anyone who doesn't want it to affect them, why does it matter?

Yes, it gives them bills to write against organised crime. If you think the government has never had to deal with organised crime, you are more ignorant than I originally thought.

Moving the goalposts. I can see you are at least ignorant of that logical fallacy.

Are you actually suggesting the government should not have to deal with organised crime?

I don't see your flimsy point sir. 'It affects people who put time into it.' Okay fair enough, but how? Tell me how have you been affected by this mob terror, that has honestly, produced more productivity by giving us the chance to write anti-mob laws. Note my National Fingerprint Registry.

And the Blakewell Act, Aurentina's RICO. These are all things that should be in place in any civilised nation.
