A lot of them aren't fond of gays/bis down here.

We have the WBC, Robertson, Falwell, etc.

However... not all is bad.
Except for the Catholic diocese, almost every other church in Rhode Island supported the gay marriage bill this year that just passed, and the Episcopal church down here is quite welcoming to the GLBT community.

I live just outside Boston.
This is one of the best spots to be gay/bi in the country...

Unless you're like me and go to a really conservative church and have fundie family members. >_>
