Here's our platform of the leading party, the Pragma party. They got 62% of the vote last year for elections. Term lengths range from 3 years to 12, depending.

Economy-

We believe in free markets but we support nationalization of resources. However, the party does support private ownership of capital. There are environmental controls, and pigovian taxes only. Almost all taxes are either recompensatory subsidies, or military/law&order spending. It is a very strong economy. We also regulate trade to limit externalities when necessary. But, generally, we stay out of the economy.

Politics-
Our nation has a monarch, but he is raised by many of the nation's leading professers. It is hereditary. Also, there is a court of 12 justices, and the senate is 144 members. A majority is needed to pass laws (73-71) and there needs to be a 8-5 majority in Supreme Court (court rules on every bill, the monarch being the 13th justice. We don't focus on stupid left wing idealism, and instead try to find what works (pragmaticism).

Society-
We generally accept diversity, but do not accept beliefs that undermine our nation. Religion is viewed as a matter to be left at home, as is sexuality, etc. We do not have naturalization, however we issue work permits for foreigners. There is a literacy test to vote. Military service is compulsory for males from 17-19. Women are given equal rights, but we accept biological roles as fulfilling. We follow an adapted Christian morality, and appreciate its truths and its scientific framework.

Education-
All citizens receive educational vouchers to attend school until age 17. The government doesn't run the schools, but does provide money. This is not seen as a gift but an investment.

Welfare-
Every citizen recieves a citizens' dividend (national resources) that provides a basic income. This can be invested, spend, etc.
