Changing Platform

The Partly platform/manifesto is not definite, quite the contrary. As according to pending legislation, a majority of Party member support can alter the platform to better suit changing attitudes or opinions. As per current regulations, a players must submit a motion, and have that motion seconded. At said point, a vote will be conducted and if a majority is in favour of changing the current issue relating to the Party platform, the motion will be carried to the Chairman. The Chairman has the decision to pass or fail the motion, using the veto power associated with the position. If this motion is vetoed, a second vote may be conducted, but this time a 3/4 majority is needed to pass the motion and override the veto. Note, that 3/4 majority rule is only used after a veto has been excersised.

Party Positions

Note, that in order to be eligible to run for a position, a member must first be nominated by another member

Chairman - Responsible for the management of the Party, and its conduct in the Senate. Ensures that the members of the Party are respecting the platform, as well as parliamentary procedure. The Chairman possesses the ability to veto party-specific motions at their discretion. In addition to this, the Chairman is expected to promote the party's platform, and maintain a fair approach when conducting Party business.

Vice-Chairman - Either elected by the Party, or appointed by the Chairman. Same as Chairman, except without Executive Powers.

Acting Party Whip - The Party's position to ensure all members are in-line with the platform, and advising the Sergeant-at-Arms of penalties or repercussions for repeated offenders. Ensures that party members have voted in the Senate for pertinent legislation.

Sergeant-at-Arms - The main policing figure of Party affairs, ensures that offenders and members conducting themselves in an unbecoming nature are penalized. Also commands the Party Security Forces, and moderates the multiple Party-specific threads to ensure discussion is appropriate to both policy and the rules of said thread.

Secretary - Figure responsible for managing all of the written legislation and documents of the Party. Chief figure for writing and drafting new legislation, generally acts as the direct advisor to the Chairman, completing tasks and assignments as necessary to the Party. Manages the OPs of all Party-related threads, and acts as the Party`s Public Relations and Public Affairs manager. Is also a recruiter in the Senate thread.

We have a strong belief in Militarism and the right of expanding our influence or domain (Imperialism). But prefer Diplomacy over Military force in a majority of situations.

Usualy tend to lean towards Centralizing Society (though it is not overzealous and believe a certain amount of local autonomy increases efficency).

We Balance Patriotism ,Nationalism with Cosmopolitanism(This is how our imperialism is influenced).

We believe in finding a compromise to older absolutist ideologies whenever possible. Trying to take what we have seen has work and what we desire to achieve for our future."
