Lord President Old Tyrannia is now the Minister of Arts & Culture for our electoral alliance. I felt that he was the most appropriate candidate as he has consistently shown himself to be an enthusiast of our culture and art, going so far as to make it a central issue in the Monarchist manifesto. I believe his position in government in the event we are elected will greatly benefit the nation and, even before then, will lend a prestige boost to any legislation we put forward pertaining to culture like, for example, our planned Funding of the Arts bill.

I would encourage any other CMP members interested in holding a position in the current shadow and, someday, government cabinet to make their interest known in this thread.

I agree. Saudi Arabia is a powerful country with powerful allies - going into a war with them, unprovoked, is not a smart idea. Plus, they are a kingdom, and why would us monarchists ever want to be at war with one if the last remaining monarchies?

Our closest ally among the centrist parties, Lord Sejanus Gaius Rafael Maximilian Imperiatom, has finally met his demise at the hands of those he so often took pleasure in insulting.

Despite any disagreements we might have had, he was a staunch ally of ours inside the Progressive-Conservatives, a personal friend of mine with a very similar IC background, proving himself to be the PCP's furthest right member, supporting our monarchy bill, and constantly negotiating with me personally.

I do hope we will be able to find a PCP member to replace him as the primary negotiator between our parties.

I also feel that it might be time to begin making some of our members official ambassadors to other parties. It would seem that Vazdania has taken it upon himself to become ambassador to the Communist Party and, while I had no intention of negotiating with them at all, I won't cut off links that have already been established.

Anyone interested in become an ambassador to any of the parties on the right and centre, please let me know. The only party for whom we won't require an ambassador is the NIFP as all of our members are welcome to post in the SA thread and their HQ thread and vice versa.

That is understandable. I feel the same way about that party, for the record, and feel that their manifesto matches their party name in its silliness. Rather than build a nation, they seem intent on spending all of our funds on space exploration.
