Dear senators,

Now I have spent the last few day's soul searching. For you see the little incident with Otto Karl Ludwig the party president the other day struck a cord with me. In my heart I am a monarchist but a monarchist who believes in British parliamentary constitutional democracy and as such I cannot remain in the classical monarchist party any longer. My loyalty to the Queen will never die but I must with a heavy heart respectfully resign my party membership at this time. I must leave as I disagree with the authoritarian way in which Otto Karl Ludwig tries to run the party, as well as his policy of knee-jerk reactions to incidents and issues before being in possession of the full facts. These are both totally at odds with my political beliefs and my moral belief's, as well as being very irresponsible for a man in such a position as he. Let it be known that nobody else in the party should feel their actions bear any responsibility for my resignation.

It was a hard decision to take as I have many friends in the alliance and I must ask you to understand my position and accept my humblest apologies at leaving you at this moment in time. Especially those of you in the NIFP, you will always have my respect and friendship.

Thus I now turn to my second political love, that of secularism with regards to the state and the church and of the equal treatment of all people within our nation. It is a measure of how high a regard that I hold the monarchy that I have until this point happily put my other beliefs to oneside in pursuit of this goal. Thus whilst I have quite often found I have been voting against my conscience I have not found it difficult to bear. Whilst I did not have problem with it whilst striving for the goal of monarchy I find I can no reason to vote in favor of the whims of one man. Especially if he does not respect the fine caucus of senators that make up the classical monarchist party and who I have been lucky to find myself among these last few months. I thank you all for your work and friendship.

For this reason I feel it is no longer worth the personal sacrifice and it will remain so until such time as Otto Karl Ludwig is no longer president of the party. I will in respect of this, from this moment on, be a Senator representing the Liberal Democrat party. Finally I must thank Wulukuno for his guidance as a good friend over the last week in this matter. I highly regard his judgment in all things.

This is sad news, especially when it comes from one of the CMP's core members. But, I for one applaud the Senator for sticking to his beliefs and not warping the, for other people. Yes we may mourn his loss but we must remember that he is still a Monarchist at heart. The little incident which the Senator speaks of did seem a bit rash from our Lord President but it seems has had further reaching consequences that one might have expected. You would therefore not need to apologise because even though some may be disheartened and even angry with you, we know that you are doing what you think is right for you, our Senate and Aurentia which means that we should not disregard this man.
