I don't think it's a good thing that those two claimed it. They are both libertarian, correct?

NCP is centrist.

LFP isn't as extreme as some make it out to be. The actual extremists split off a while ago and formed the Objectivist Party.
I support peace in Israel and Palestine. The governments and people in power on all sides are an absolute disgrace, and their unwillingness to pursue peace is a disservice to the people they are meant to be serving. The status quo is not simply untenable; it is unquestionably unacceptable.

The NCP's yer average centre-right party. They're not noticeably libertarian from what I can see.

I stand corrected then. I suppose I should check out their platform.

EDIT: After checking out their platform, I actually support the NCP getting Commerce. Definitely not the LFP though, even if they aren't as extreme as some would like us to believe.

Given the recent monarchy proposal, it’s purpose is fairly obvious. I wish to invite all members of this party to join it. In addition, I wish to form a tripartite leadership. Your party and the Red-Greens can each select someone to take up a position in our leading council, if you should wish to do so.

I will join, but I think membership should not be closed to only one member of this party.

That's what he's saying, actually. Just that members of the association could then form a leadership council where each party could have part of the decision-making. I can't speak for Comrade Osea but I think the idea is to make sure one (present or future) party doesn't suddenly decide the association should only defend communism, or libertarianism, or should perhaps allow a taste of classical monarchy to strengthen the republic, or whatever you can imagine.

Also, it was said earlier that the party is anti-space exploration. I don't know if that's correct, but if it is, I'd certainly like to see that change a little bit.

EDIT: Ahh, I see the process really IS far from over. That's disappointing that the two extremes banded together rather than accept someone from the middle.

Geilinor's political position is really not the issue, I'm sorry to say. It's a coalition motivated by anticommunism, despite your and other late groups' compass balancing effect. I don't mean to be argumentative, just help you understand why we would do such a thing.

Old Tyrannia just said the CMP will try and push one of their "flagship" policies into the coalition if they are indeed to join: viewtopic.php?p=15156740#p15156740

If the coalition becomes monarchist, I'm leaving this party unless it withdraws from the coalition. It's getting to be too much.

If it becomes monarchist or officially social conservative, and the LFP doesn't leave, I'm going to split from the LFP and make a center right social liberal party.

If they're going to even get into this coalition, they're going to make demands. See my link to OT's post earlier.

That I was against the SA joining? I guess I never stated it outright, but by my posts it would have been very clear.
