That is similar to my own views. I Think we are after a very slightly progressive income tax system but low at rates between 25-35%. i personally don't mind high sales tax because that means those that use a good pay for its externalities.

And with regards to the formation of a military? What organizational strucure are we to follow? American or British?

I was Trained to become an Instrument to the State.

I accept that and it fits within my Idealogy quite nicely.

But you sort of lose the "Illusions" Of Youth when You come back missing portions of Yourself.

And as far as training and investment? Given the sheer expense in maintaining and training People in order to become soldiers? I believe they are a more useful Utility then most.

Personally I admire the organizational structure of the wehrmacht in the second world war and would apadpt it to a modern army in the best fashion possible.

Would be extremely difficult to convince the Senate to do this although i would approve of such a strong and well funded Military Force.

A Military of more then twenty million though...I view that as a bit Too large but i also would look at the Needed Industrial factors in supplying and equiping such a force.

Well, the current plan for my history involves us being a British possession until some point after WW2, so it would make sense. And, I doubt we'd be under martial law. Just regular British law.
