The only places in Ireland I know right now are Dublin and Galway...I think. I'd probably pick one of those two should I go there at the moment.

I'd recommend Cork, to be honest. Beautiful scenery outside the city, especially if you wander a bit into Tipperary or Kerry.

If I ever have the nerve, I'll need some good planning though. I want to visit several places and I'll need to make sure I get lodging too.
