Buffalo's indeed quite tasty. Especially when seasoned very good.

Never had dog or cat or elephant. Had iguana down in the Caribbean.

If I remember correctly, and I may be wrong, States allow a certain amount of buffalo to be hunted each year.

If you're looking for an Adventure, going by car would be better IMO. You get to explore some of the town, also when you reach South Carolina and Georgia, you start meeting a lot of racist people, too.

I don't really know, but the buffalo meat we had at the festival was purchased legally in Oklahoma so I am sure that means the buffalo is no longer in the endangered species list.

Yep, I actually lived near a ranch in the 90's that ran buffalo on it for the tax breaks because it was an endangered species so I knew a bit on that subject :p

I can't say I've really eaten any weird animals. The only animals I've eaten that have ever been called weird were Goat and Shark, but those are not that uncommon. I may have eaten weird parts of animals, such as Tongue and Chicken Feet, but I don't think those count.
