Being gay is being attracted predominantly, not necessarily exclusively, to the same sex; whereas being bisexual means that you are equally attracted to both sexes, being heterosexual or homosexual means you prefer one of those sexes over the other.

Coming to this realization is extremely freeing to me. Almost no one is exclusive to one sex, so with that knowledge in mind, I can happily have relationships and encounters involving the opposite sex, and still be comfortable with my identity as a gay man.

Which is extremely liberating.

I don't understand why people still both to label their sexuality. I mean I understand pragmatically for the sake of a conversation or explaining to someone but I don't understand why it has to be an identity or anyone's business in general.

I've kissed several. Kissed a Trans* MtF pre-op (set hike), was fine with the kissing, but couldn't do anything with the sea cucumber.
