I wouldn't mind if someone was anywhere. Plane tickets exist and aren't prohibitively expensive if you're determined. That said, I'm glad the person I'm approaching something real with lives in Miami, since that's 4 hours from me, which is a lot better than nothing.

Has anyone here gotten a tattoo on their spine and if so was it really that painful?

The pain of tattoos depends on a lot of factors. If you don't have enough fat and/or muscle in the area being tattooed it will hurt something fierce.
