Rabbis are not infallible, so I'm afraid that's not an argument. Jewish is an ethnicity, just like Nordic is an ethnicity. There are a few ethnic groups within it, but it's still an ethnicity.

No, my argument is that there are white Jews, black Jews, Jewish converts, Jews who are Irish, Jews who are Chinese, it isn't limited to an ethnicity and it isn't one. There are ethnicities that are exclusively Jewish, but "Jewish" is not one of them. There is a Hebrew ethnicity, and I think thats what people are trying to get at, but the word Jewish isn't one of them .
