I can't see what a lot of people need to see or have seen on Twitter but that's a different discussion.
My dad said I could have one.
Also, I think that it's cool.
However, I don't know what I'll tweet about.

I don't particularly like FB or twitter much, either. Hell, I deleted everyone but 2 people from my FB friends list, and one of them is my secondary account...
I used to have a decent fandom blog with 300 some followers, but a lot of the show began to bore me and Tumblr stared to annoy me.
I never even bothered getting either.

Don't tweet unless you have something to say.
So until you're like 17.Slembana wrote:I might tweet about football.
See above. No one wants to read anything a 14 year old has to say about football.

I started out on tumblr about 2 years ago just posting bands, tv shows and films I liked, not realising you could reblog from other people... 6 months later I had about 40 followers, gave up, returned in Jan 2012 in an unserious manner, gave up on that blog in July and created a band-stroke-tattoo-stroke-personal blog in October which now has a miraculous 800 followers.
I don't understand the internet sometimes.

When you believe you have learned enough, then you can dive in. It's a good learning tool for human behaviour, tbh.
And don't constantly tweet celebrities - their mentions get spammed enough as it is and 99.9% of the time they won't (have the time to) reply.
