Nothing beats the time I was playing Civ Rev, and I had my mighty American battleships loaded with the most advanced units in the game (along with several fighter and bomber wings) poised to invade India. I decided I'd nuke one of their cities (using the only nuke in the game), and use the road from the now destroyed city to capture all their remaining cities out in one turn. Unfortunately, I didn't know that a nuke wipes out all units in a 1 square radius of the target, and I had my entire invasion force lined up along the target city's coast. Needless to say, I was fucking pissed when I found out I had accidently destroyed all my battleships, modern infantry units, tanks, artillery, and aircraft (not to mention that most of my land units had elite status, and had all sorts of sweet upgrades).
