today is the last day, gotta make the subways run,and we wait on con ed to turn on power, once they do, we dispatch folks to clean, check, turn on the equipment, my job is to sit here and monitor it, and make sure we can communicate with it, and therefore the dispatchers can communicate with the trains. been doing this since the storm

There's nothing bad about your life that can't be fixed. Sounds stupid but it's true. Whether fixing it means forgetting about it, changing it, or changing how you look at it, it can be fixed.

Just life in general. Wasted time, being behind, not belonging, failing classes, isolation, whatever. Irrational but overwhelming.

Focus your energy, focus yourself. Wasted time is no longer worth thinking about. It's done with. Failing classes is a problem that is the best for you. Instructors are logical and grades have a visible rubric. You figure out where you're not doing the right things and you change your effort. You can find people in class, ask them if they're having a hard time, and say you should study together, and then you've made headway on your isolation and feeling like you don't belong. You can do this.
