I would like my parents to be proud and supportive of me some day. My dad thinks I should try out for a sports team, not an A Cappella group (which I was invited to after the director over heard me singing! I didn't even audition). I told my mother I want to go to Le Cordon Bleu, a great culinary arts school and she basically told me I would have better chances going to the community college than going to an actual cooking school. I'm just sick of my parents never supporting my choices and never being proud that I am actually doing something.
