I've been a fan of Red Bull cars since they were on the Saubers in years gone by.
When they got their own team, I followed them.
I've liked Webber since his famous race with Minardi as a young gun. Followed him since.

Yep, I remember seeing Red Bull on Saubers in the mid '90s and thinking Red Bull was beer. That's before it was sold in the US, you know.

The 2002 Australian GP? I had heard of Webber for a few years as one of the "best drivers not in F1," so I was really rooting for him that year. I was also rooting for Toyota because they were brand new, but I stopped caring for them after a while.

I never knew what kind of sorcery was in Red Bull until the first time I tried a can. It goes surprisingly good with donuts. :?

And I think that was the right race. I remember being awfully impressed at it. I was just a youngster of 12 at the time, and it stuck with me. He's been my fave ever since. But I still like Raikkonen, too.

I remember standing here
Right on this very same site
I was dying but for you
It was just another night

You once rocked me in your world
You bought me my first shoes
I was just another lonely child
Oh, and you were much amused

So you took me and you dressed me well
All for your friends to see
You drained my body calmly till
There was no more left in me

Then you walked out and you cut me cold
Out on the road somewhere
Why it happened, well, I don't know
And I still have no idea

I was really happy when Webber went to Williams, because that's my favorite non-Ferrari team. Of course he went there at the start of their dark ages, but I was happy to see him in person at the 2005 USGP. Those F1 drivers are incredibly slim. It's like they don't have a pelvis. Not sure why that image came to mind.

Sorry to be clogging up TET with F1 chatter.
