I don't think they need to dope me up.
Yep there is a genuiene lack of that, I either get counselling or meds; neither help me out. :(

I was chatting with Seperates, I think it was, a while ago and I came to the conclusion that maybe I need low dosage meds with some chat therapy. Not the dosage I'm getting from Celexa.

They should teach you the skills necessary to cope with whatever your problem is. And obviously, it isn't more meds.

Yep. A standardized unit of value is the problem, not incompetent or useless therapists.

What the? :palm:

I was comparing it to the monetary system, planned obsolescence, etc.

How is that not implying that it's because we use money instead of resources as a basis for the economy?

So I've been looking at old post recently.

I wonder what the DEAT rate is for NS Generalites per year. Seems like there are a lot of them.

There are a lot of specific types, some of which are basically just there to give out drugs because they have little or no training in the rest.

If this one has any specialization, I'm unaware. We went to see him because he has dealt with members of my family and they recommended him.

Ah. Well, I've no idea if that's the problem, but it might be worth checking out. It could just be that that's how they're used to handling things, too; I know that in other jobs (firefighters, for example) people will do stupid or awful things because they've been doing it so long they don't want to bother with something tougher.

Presumably you can decline extra medication on the grounds that it isn't necessary and force him into alternatives.
