Come to think of it, most of the revolutionaries who succeeded post-American Revolution weren't good guys. Everyone who was good either got crushed (too many to name), got corrupted (Robespierre, Che), or enjoyed fleeting moments of success before being purged by Stalin (Trotsky and friends).
