You know... I have actually thinking about that sort of concept on a philisophical level.
After all, it normalcy is the thing that everybody expects, then a "normal" person would actually be considered the most boring person on Earth because there would be NOTHING interesting or different about them, other than (of course) their sheer normalcy.

In essence, being "completely normal" could be classified as "abnormal".

It's similar to the concept of "being hipster", because it's supposed to be about "being the original".
But hipsterness in of itself promotes a sort of cultural trend, which evolves into a sort of "herd of individuality" where everybody trys to be different and in doing so essentially becomes the same.

So we shall. Everyone has this uniqueness to them, but many see this uniqueness as abnormal, and want to be more similar, but in this world, if you're too similar, you're lost. It is seen as normal to want independent thought, and paradoxically, to be like our neighbors and our friends and our coworkers.
