Well, this was my best effort to write "Dyakovo" in Kanji:
慈夜光菩 (it reads: kind night light herb )

I based this on the the on'yomi, since apparently those are the readings you use when you write things phonetically with Kanji, although I'm not really sure about the accuracy (I'm already breaking rules of Japanese by writing a non-Japanese name in Kanji, so I don't mind that much. Plus, I know that transliterating using Hanzi works this way for Chinese, so maybe it's the same.

Probably we should just write his name as it is, since it's not a Japanese name, as you said, interpretations or transliterations don't always work.
